A year of gratitude

December 31st, 2005 · 2 Comments

It seems appropriate at this time of year (as I sit here at my
computer on New Year’s Eve) to review the year that is closing before
welcoming in the new.

And I am drawn to express my gratitude to all those people who have made my life such a joy this year.

And so, let me begin.  Firstly, thank you to you – my readers.
Whether you visit here regularly, or if this is the first time you have
happened here, I am pleased you have joined me.  I have become more and
more aware of the power of the written word on the internet this year -
I have made new, wonderful friends through blogging and I have readers
from around the globe leaving lovely comments – each and every comment
still thrills me to bits!  For this I am grateful.

This year saw the inception of The Clearing Space Sanctuary – from a
few thoughts in my head, to scribblings in my notebook, to reality with
the launch in August!  Here I have to say a huge thank you to Leah Maclean
my Online Business Manager for the brilliant job she does managing all
that on-line technical stuff, as well as a lot of the creative design
elements, for me.  Thank you Leah.  For all this, I am grateful.

2005 has also seen the growth of a number of amazing friendships,
collaborations and connections – you know who you are.  Your friendship
means so much to me, and I look forward to 2006 knowing I have you
there beside me (virtually if not physically!)  Thank you for your
support and encouragement and that ever present laughter when we
connect.  For all of you, I am grateful.

And last, but by no means least – my dear husband G, along with our
kids – Captain Scarlet, Gorgeous Girl and Master7 – who have supported
me, encouraged me and been my eternal inspiration for what is true
& real.  Having these four wonderful people in my life has enriched
me beyond measure, and they keep me anchored when I start floating with
my head up in the clouds.  My two older kids, especially, call me to
task if I’m not being authentic – where did they get to be so full of
insight?  For having you in my life, I am eternally grateful.

I am looking forward to a year of innovation, of excitement, of
space, of calm and peaceful moments and much much laughter and love.
Happy New Year to all!
