Did I get you in with that title?

Even though today is our 20th wedding anniversary and passion obviously plays a big part in THAT achievement, that is not the subject of this posting today.

I have been thinking about passion as it relates to our work.  To what we do with our hours and our days.  With the months and years of our life.

And about how large a part passion can play in how much we do, at what level we do it, the ease with which we do it, and how much enjoyment we get out of it.

If you’re passionate about your work, it really doesnt seem like work.  You’re more creative, happier, more fulfilled and dont mind getting out of bed each morning.  You also have bucket loads more energy when you’re filled with that passion.

There is going to be a lot more on passion posted here in the coming days – but for now I will leave you with this question:

Are you absolutely passionate about what you do?  Why?

    Hi Karen,
I am very passionate about what I do.I don’t like to refer to it as work because you’re right, if you enjoy doing it, it doesn’t seem much like working. For me it’s the spontaneity of what I do that keeps my passion alive. It’s never a dull moment and I get to be surrounded by really talented people. I am very fortunate.

    Hi Karen,
Well, since I’m not working right now…and don’t know when that might be, my passions aren’t being directed that way. What I do have passion about is my writing and connecting with the many wonderful people I visit in the blogosphere every day….it has been a beautiful thing. Of course it goes without saying that my biggest passion is my family and friends…the best.
