It’s been an exciting and busy week, and that is my
excuse reason for not mentioning this earlier. (I’m not even going to mention my cold).
OK, this isnt a carnival like a circus come to town. Maybe a little more like a real carnivale – you know where everyone dresses up in bright costumes, dons a mask and then parties all night. No? Not really possible on a blog, is it? In the virtual world of bloggers, a carnival is a gathering of like-minded people who have written things on their blogs which all relate to a certain theme (like capitalism, entrepreneurship, etc). And at each carnival, someone takes all those writings and gathers them up into a nice bundle, ready for us to enjoy.
And at this Carnival, Leah has headed the line-up with Rosa Say – and her reinvention challenge to HR professionals. A worthy headliner – to be sure. In fact, this is a real challenge to every HR department anywhere in the world. I’ll probably come back to this post again in a future blog.
And… guess what? Leah has posted my discussion of reinventing your job spec as second cab off the rank! I’m thrilled – thanks Leah!
Both Rosa and I (and the other three women whose blogs joined the carnival) were the lucky recipients of Leah’s emphasis on contributions from women (as this is the focus of her business). I, for one, like the way this woman thinks!
So why not roll up roll up and check out the carnival before it leaves town (and country) again next week? With 42 posts to choose from, there has to be something in there to inform, educate or inspire.
