Flying Solo. It’s a great name for a book, isnt it? Especially for us wanna-be entrepreneurs.
We’re really into Flying Solo if, right at this moment, we’re hating our corporate gig. Hating the 8 to 6 grind (cause let’s face it – who does 9 to 5 in their right mind these days and still keep their high flying j.o.b.??)
Anyway, I digress.
What I wanted to share with you was a manifestation. A miracle of connection, if you will.
I’m really into noticing miracles these days, and I think this morning qualifies.
Whilst drinking my morning cup of Earl Grey Tea (yup – this girl is definitely not a not-awake-until-I-have-coffee type girl) I picked up a book I have on loan from Slim Ink. It’s been sitting on my shelf for a few weeks now, unopened as I battled other challenges and grappled with back to school and sick kids.
But that isn’t the miracle.
The miracle is that later I decided to check the stats on this blog. Not something I regularly do, but simply a spur of the moment curiousity.
There was about 3 times as much traffic as normal on my blog (and this was 9am) and a good proportion of it was from – you guessed it:
Yup! The website from the book… they had linked to my post here… about Getting Still.
Boy, I am chuffed!
But even more than that, I am blown away by the syncronicity here. How miraculous is it that the very day I chose to start reading this book, I am mentioned on the website with people popping in for a visit all over the place??
My Noticing Miracles is really paying off. This one’s a doozy, and I am sure there are many more in the pipeline.
Bring em on, I say!
And a huge, warm Queensland welcome to all those visiting from Flying Solo… it’s great to have you here.
