Reimagining our daily life – envisage how great it can be!

February 24th, 2007 · 1 Comment

We have a unique opportunity, at any stage in our lives, to go back to the drawing board and reimagine our life how we would like it.

I’ve been doing a lot of this lately, starting with The Clearing Space and Sanctuary, and how I want these to be moving forward.  I’ve already talked a little about this here… and here

What I found was that as the picture of how my business will look gets clearer (the Getting Still process has allowed a lot of the sediment to settle so I can see more clearly what I am here for), I started to focus more on the rest of my life.  My whole life, really.

I’m finding it useful to go right back to considering how each day will go – right from the time my feet hit the floor in the morning to when I lay my weary bones back on that bed in the evening… and everything in between.

Without the picture of what your days will look like, it’s often easy to lose your way.

Tony D Clark, over at Success from the Nest, talks about If you want to be rich, you have to know what the heck it means.

The key is identifying clearly what that means to you – then making that intention the focus of your thoughts and effort.

Ahhh… so instead of complaining about how bad our lives are… about how we WISH things would change. About how we have no time to exercise, or spend time with our beloved, or learn to speak Italian, or put the wedding photos in an album (when you’ve been married for 21 years!!) or clear the clutter

It’s time to get clear on what it is we do want to fill our days and nights and whole life with – get really, really clear about it.  Then make that intention the focus of our thoughts and effort.

Who knows what miracle will show up to aid you in finding your perfect lifestyle?!

Thanks Karen. To me one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is clarity. If you have that, everything else seems to fall into place.
