Seriously, this meme has been getting round for a while now, and some – like Rosa, and Tony, left the tag open for any who felt like taking up the challenge. And I really didn’t at that stage. They all came up with brilliant, personal, detailed reasons why they blog. And THEIR reasons challenged me, more than anything else…
But now that Chris has named names and put me in the glare of the headlights, I’m going to accept the challenge to tell five reasons why I blog.
1. Blogging helps me write about what I need to learn, and in the writing of it, the learning appears.
3. I am constantly amazed at the connections I make throughout the world… the friendships that I have made, and continue to make through blogging make it all worthwhile.
4. Blogging helps develop that level of intimacy, immediacy, respect and trust with potential clients – they already feel they know and trust me before we ever connect, and it can act as a filter to those who don’t feel that way.
5. I simply love it.
Alright, I’m taking a leaf out of Rosa and Tony’s books… if you’d like to share some of the reasons why you blog… please do! And if you’d rather hide away, well, fair enough!
