Moving Day… Welcome to the new & improved version!

I am thrilled, excited, amazed, overjoyed, and awed … (hmmm, too over the top?)

OK. I am happy to introduce to you the new look for The Clearing Space.

Not only is it a new look, there is plenty of reinventing happening behind the scenes here as well. All will be revealed in good time, my friends.

You see, since I started The Clearing Space back in late 2003 (yikes, has it been THAT long??) I have been refining my message. I started out focussing on Women Who Do Too Much – and yes, that IS most of us. But somehow, it wasn’t quite right. It was the glass half-empty approach, when all who know me know I am a glass half-full kinda girl.

So… next, I decided to utilise my expertise and many years experience in corporate careers to help other women reinvent their career to be a ‘fit’ with the rest of their life.

You know what I found? That whilst so much of my experience may lie in the career-related field – and whilst I have years of experience in helping people reinvent themselves professionally; decide whether to stay in their current job/career or move on; working from home; and the issues surrounding returning to work after a significant absence – this really wasn’t what most people wanted from me.

Once I discovered (and yes, I had been blind) that what most people got from me, wanted from me, was calm - I knew I was on to something.

So here I am, with a beautiful new look, and a renewed commitment to The Clearing Space and all that the future holds for us all, together. Without you, my dear friends, I wouldn’t be here. Every time you visit, and especially every time you leave a comment, my heart sings and my joy soars.

I am also still commited to Sanctuary – it is due for a make-over and I hope you will remain patient as we make it a true haven away from the incessant demands of your busy, busy life. It will be bigger, better and calmer than ever before! (You can still access Sanctuary by clicking that little blue button on the right over there…)

I would also like to thank (for it wouldn’t be a good acceptance speech without thanking those who helped me get to where I am today) Leah Maclean – Online Business Manager and Designer extraordinaire – this is her work at its finest. Thanks Leah.

Your turn now. What do you think of our new look? Will you leave a comment below and let me know?? Please…

PS!! Please remember to change your bookmark, rss subscription or blogroll link to this new address!
